Cannula
All cannula have the following features:

- Color-coded by size for easy differentiation and identification (adapter kit required for the Flexible Karman Cannula)
- Printed insertion guides
- Used for uterine aspiration in conjunction with the Ipas MVA Plus® Aspirator and the Double Valve Aspirator (adapter kit required for the Flexible Karman Cannula). Sizes 4 mm, 5 mm and 6 mm of the Flexible Karman Cannula can also be used for uterine aspiration with the Single Valve Aspirator. No adapters are required.
Ipas EasyGrip® Cannula
Product Code: SR4 to SR12 (no SR11)
- Semi-rigid: The tactile response of a rigid curette with the gentle probe of a flexible cannula
- Utilizes permanently-integrated bases
- Eliminates the need for adapters to connect to the aspirator
- Constructed with “wings” to facilitate easy insertion and removal from the aspirator

- Used for endometrial biopsy in conjunction with the Ipas MVA Plus® Aspirator or a Double Valve Aspirator (requires a 6 mm adapter) or a Single Valve Aspirator (no adapter required)
*Ipas EasyGrip® Cannula and Flexible Karman Cannula are individually wrapped and are sterilized with ethylene oxide gas, remaining sterile as long as the wrapper is intact and until the labeled expiration date.
Clinical indications:
- Treatment of incomplete abortion for uterine sizes up to 12 weeks since the woman's last menstrual period (LMP)
- First trimester abortion
Warnings/Contraindications:
- Warnings: In a small percentage of cases (< 2%), one or more of the following may occur during or after the procedure: uterine or cervical injury, pelvic infection, vagal reaction, incomplete evacuation or acute hematometra.
- Contraindications: There are no known contraindications for treatment of incomplete abortion for uterine sizes up to 12 weeks since the woman’s last menstrual period (LMP) or first-trimester abortion (menstrual regulation).
